NGD - Gretsch

I’m still not quite sure how it happened.
I went to my local music shop just to see what interface units and microphones were available. Seems I didn’t make it past the guitar section.
I tried several semi hollow bodies and when I tried the Gretsch, the tone was just what I had imagined it should be and it felt so good to play. I just had to have it! :hugs:

Isn’t that the model Brian Setzer plays? Or a very similar Gretsch. Very nice.

Funny thing Adrian, my wife is away this weekend which makes it just that bit naughtier. As the saying goes ‘Easier to plead for forgiveness than beg for permission’ :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Hi David. No, didn’t get to that section of the store. That will surely require another visit.

Is it a 5565T? Gorgeous guitar. Congratulations!
I want to by 5565TG in Azure Metallic sometime after the army. And it won’t be my only Gretsch for sure.

Happy NGD!

Try going home without one after that experience
