Spec: Body Mahogany with flame maple top (not just a veneer).
Neck: Roasted Canadian maple
Fingerboard: Striped ebony 12” radius medium jumbo frets.
Pickups: All alnico 5; coil split Humbucker bridge, 2 single coils Middle & Neck.
It also has locking tuners and a bone nut.
Neck joint access is outstanding, finish is outstanding for the price point.
After a bit of a setup, which took me a couple of hours it plays like a dream!
It looks suspiciously like it’s made in the Cort factory, there’s a few similar guitars about like it including Cort, they’re not too expensive non B Stock, all that mine had wrong that I could find was a bit of a mark in the trussrod hole and the setup wasn’t right, it had a bit of string buzz and the intonation was a bit out. I really don’t know how they can sell them at these prices, I wish I could have gotten one like this whe I was a kid!
Darrell… it’s impossible to keep up with all NGDs in the community… but since your your beautiful new guitar has a very memorable look… I have a feeling, I have seen this guitar already earlier?
Roasted maple neck, locking tuners, a bone nut, alnico pickups, humbucker with coil split, flamed maple top - awesome specs for that low pricepoint. I guess it feels and sounds great. Congratulations!
