Got myself a new overdrive pedal, because you can never have to many. On ‘Ge’ mode it’s dirty, crossing nearly into fuzz range. While in Si’ mode its a more clean overdrive. Absolutely in love with the sounds.
Running in ‘Ge’ with the gain all the way up into my Vox AC15 just at the point of breakup itself is pure joy.
Enjoy the new pedal! I’ve got my eye on this one and the Morning Glory. But the land of pedals seems to be a big rabbit hole so I’m trying to resist for as long as I can. Or till Rock Immersion starts haha.
JHS pedals in general enjoy well-deserved reputation. I’m sure your overdrive is no exception… Have fun, after all that’s what it’s all about 
JHS makes good pedals. This is the only one by them I own, but I have played a number of them.
If possible find a local used gear place that carries used pedals. Take your guitar and ask to test out as many as you can. My local used shop has 512 pedals currently, I didn’t get the JHS from them, but I knew what I was looking for when I went shopping. I did buy my Boss DD3 from them, though.
