OMG! Found this beauty today and it just feels great in my hands. So of course I had to have it! Wasn’t planning on getting another guitar but look at her, she just screamed take me home!
Im gonna upgrade the bridge, and swap out the humbucker with a P90 (both on order). Maybe putting some locking tuners on it if I’m feeling super frisky.

I have a double cut Jr clone with a dog ear P90 and it is my favorite sounding electric straight into an amp. I did a bridge & keys upgrade too, putting in a Gotoh G510UB bridge and some 510 locking tuners.

The place I got the guitar from ordered the bridge for me to save me some searching, it’s a tonepros but unsure (can’t remember) of the model. (Drop shipped from stewmac)
For the pickup I ordered a GFS Dream 90 Humbucker Sized P90 - Black on Black.
I love the feel of the guitar, so I can see it quickly becoming my go to really quickly.

The largest reason for the pickup change is I wanted a LPJ (or SGJ) with a single bridge p90 pickup. I have other guitars with humbuckers in the bridge already, so its really about something sonically different than what I have.
The other reasons is that pickup sounds like mud. Like a blanket is over the guitar, I bought the guitar for the feel of the guitar in my hands and that beautiful color. Hardware can be replaced, feel in the hands can’t.
