Hi - Arrived today…Tone King Gremlin. ![]()
congratulations
Looks cool. Focal point hope you have bright guitar!
Happy NGD
A friend had the big one and it sounded (and looked just as) amazing!
happy jamming!
Way to Go Gary!
Real sweet amp ya got there!
I dig a simple amp. And that one fills the bill for sure.
I just watched the Tone King video on it. Man, it’s sweet, many tones to be achieved with just a tone and volume control.
That’s plug and play! Not so much knob tweeking with that one. It’s you, your guitar, and your amp. It’s you! Without effect.
I dig your color coordinated coily cord too. How cool is that!
From you pic, it looks like even your pilot light is turquoise.
Very Stylish!
If ya know what kinda (who makes it) your coily cord, please let me know. I need a spare one. The one I got has been repaired much to keep it in service. I like them smaller coils. The smaller coils seem to be hard to come by.
So you gonna run that baby by itself or do ya got a pedal board to go with it?
Have a gob of fun with that Gary. That’s a really top notch, great sounding amp you’ve acquired, imho.
Hi all -
Thanks for looking!
After playing a Fender Pro Jr a few years ago, I knew I wanted to add something simple.
However, that one, like most others, don’t have the attenuation feature like this one does.
I will try pedals with it, but so far, I can say the tone and distortion versatility is extraordinary.
As for the coil cord, I bought that around 1993. I’ve repaired it, too. ![]()
Thats great Gary. I bet thats a fantastic sounding amp. Like @HappyCat I also went the simple amp way and definitely haven’t regretted it (in my case with a Roland Blues Cube Hot).
Have fun and let us know about your experiences with this amp.
Congratulations Gary! Looks swelll!
