right?? I barely touched the guitar so I can’t be too confident saying this but hearing you’re supposed to strum with your dominant hand was surprising. I’m left handed and when you’re just starting doing the fretting is uncomfortable with either hand anyway, but I’d guess with all those memes about ridiculous chords that fretting is supposed to be a more difficult skill hence one you should immediately be doing with a hand you have more command over
