Nothing to see here

Working through a whole new process as we speak, but pretty much done with the ambient mic scratchpad videos. I’m going back to multi-track studio recording. Will probably do some more AI at some point due to all of the angst, controversy and fear. Besides, no one else is doing it here and on other guitar boards (that I know of), so why stop now?

Cool! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Ahhh, Clint… I think of you as doing things you feel like doing, irrespective of crowd mentality, not due to it (even if in the opposite direction)

Hey Clint, I somehow missed this before and also like your song, playing and singing!

And me too - I am baffled by the quality of the AI version!
Could you explain how you did it?
I imagine that you also had to put some work to make the “engine” do what you intended?

Good to hear that you’re upgrading your studio so your next version will rival that AI sound
I am with the others in that I like to see someone’s own version with his own specialities, flaws or whatever there is that make his version different from run-of-the-mill chart songs.

Well, that’s a given (for the most part). LOL
Adding some new twists that are out of the ordinary is the bonus plan. There’s a lot of interest in bringing fire back to the cave.

Hey glad you liked it! I appreciate the comment.

Instead of quick scratchpadding where vocals and guitar are both ambient and often not as clear/well articulated as they can be, I will work in multi-track fashion with better mic setup. This gives me the ability to add other layers as well. Not adding any more polish than that really --unless I’m moved to do so. Plenty of cinematic productions over on my youtube channel if you care to check them out.

Let’s move AI discussions over here:

It would be very refreshing to have some positive AI discussions over there.

Oh, the Platonic hubris… I feel a song coming on

I’m far too humble for all of that. Cheers.

Hi Clint, I must admit to be a bit prejudiced towards AI, mostly I guess I find it a bit scary…not my intention to digress here, I want to thank you for making and posting the two versions as comparing them is much interisting. They’re quite different, both most enjoyable, though…it’s not easy to pick one as there must be a time and a place for each one of them.

Thanks for the listen and positive comment. I would worry about an AI driven vehicle or aircraft more than AI music.
