Another one of my favorite covers I have done by Neil Young! I did this a couple years ago!

Hello everyone! I just wanted to do a quick recording of this and make a short version! Hope yall like it! Ive been tuning my guitar way down lately. Hope you guys enjoy!

I really like the sound of the full step lower-tuned guitar. The song obviously isn’t especially easy to sing, but you did quite well, nonetheless.

That sounded really great Bytron…the playing was amazing and you did great on the vocals too… wow! Now be kind, and tell me…how do you make your Rhythm keep going like that?!

Soo I keep rhythm in three ways, one tapping my foot sometimes ( I need to get in a better habit of doing that)

I mostly keep rhythm in my wrist, I know that sounds weird but it helps me alot.

I also keep rhythm within the vocals/lyrics, I know my rhythm isnt completely perfect tho. I still need to work on that and in my phrasing of the lyrics.

Other than that, thats mainly how I do it!!!

I like the second video, but the first - I really love it! :star_struck:
I think there are a very few places you’re deviating a tiny bit from the original, but your playing is great, and you sing very well and you just deliver the atmosphere of that song so well!
That’s a song I also want to play one day, but I didn’t feel ready yet.

Which song did you like better? The You and Me or Thank You? My mother loves how i do that song (You And Me) I need to relearn it lol, that was 2 years ago!

If you notice Ill sing the most important parts of the song on my down strum, kinda keeping in rhythm with my wrist and vocals.

It’s the “You and me” Have been loving it since I bought the album when it was quite new. The whole album is great!

And you’re doing it very well!

Thats Oakley! We have had her now for about a month, shes mine and my bro got another one name Ori, Shes black and white and a little Deva Lol. I also have a little Min Pin!!

We had to get 2 more pomskys since we had to put our other one down, her name was Mya and she had really bad seizures. She was 5 years old :frowning: After that we got Oakley and Ori and they are a mess and brighten up the day!!! :slight_smile:

Sounds to me like you dried out the vocals and IMHO they are much better, treated that way. What did you end up doing?

Good songs. I was not real aware of the NY one, but can certainly hear his paw prints on it. The other song is good too and I might rate that slightly better…
