I opened up my emails this morning and there was a new one from Justin entitled -
NEWS + A Special Lesson For Older Learners (over 25!).
I now feel that Iāve got one foot in the grave!!

Way to hit us hard there Justin!!
Same thought here Gordon. I expect there will be a follow up, Special Lesson for Ancient Old Gits over 60 Mind you for us crinklies the new lesson should have a HSE warning !
With 25 so far behind me that I can no longer see it in the rear view mirror, that was a proper kick in the cobblers!
Its a great lesson, so dont knock it. I just need to remember where I left the guitar now
So at 32 Iām officially an older learner. Feels like side A of my life is getting closer to the end.
I turned 40 a couple of days ago but it only give me the feeling Iām unlocking things rather than getting limited or something
Perhaps āgetting oldā means ābeing more inspired to feel the blues for realā
They say 40 is the new 30. Happy birthday Lieven.
I have already made my peace with literally being a blues (blooz?) dad at 41!
60 is the new 30 mho
I like that logicā¦ that means Iāve restarted learning guitar around the same age when I first tried to learn guitar
Great show!
Hi Gordon,
āNOW I really feel old!ā
So that really made you feel old ā¦I believe we should start a fundraiser for you so you can hang a mirror in your house ā¦
And @LievenDV retroactive congratulations on this milestone birthday
Happy you, only to have a message for older guitar learners over 25. I got a spam today for a stair lift
Iām 66 so fits me well haha Iāve been watching Justinās videos for as long as he has been on uboob aka youtube. Iāve learned more from him than anyone else. Only way I can support him is to buy his apps on Android with Google money. Wish I could do more for him. And by the way I play lefty with the large E string on top using my mirror mind. Thank you Justin for all you have done for me in the last 16 years now? Just a guess on how long without going back and looking.
Ha ha, guess who has oneā¦
Yeah, got mineā¦ā¦. been sulking all day
It looks like Iām dipping my toes in the grave
That same āunlockingā feeling for me as well, as adult learners life taught us loads of lessons already, and the time feels just about right to make the most out of themā¦but definetely I also see how slow my brain works!
