Now that you’ve taken them down………

What are you going to do with the tree?

This is something my father-in-law would do. Probably has done. The neighbors give him a wide berth!

Guess greater impact if that tree was maybe 3 or 4 feet. :japanese_goblin: :japanese_ogre: :ghost:

I was really environmentally friendly this Christmas and for the first time bought an artificial tree. I took it down yesterday and put it on a bonfire in the garden. It burned really well, so minimal air pollution. Definitely the way to go and I’ll buy another one next Christmas.

A couple of years ago we started getting small, live trees with roots as we live in a small flat. When we take it down we take it to the daughters who plants them in her garden. I am not a great recycler but this way the daughter will eventually get her hedge, and we don’t have to store a fake tree all year

Umm, yeah… I don’t think that’s the way that’s supposed to work?!?

My friend’s wife sent me this after his new year’s resolution to ride the bike to work for the next 365 days (‘come hell or high water’ he quoted):

He didn’t mention he’s been working from home since march 2020!
