If they come to Philadelphia I will see them.
Definitely Maybe from me. I would love to see them live but not keen on stadium events. Thinking about seeing Noasis instead so I can at least feel involved in the party.
I am slightly fearful that Oasis reforming could bring about the end of the world. Its likely to be so epic, in the media at least that their egos are going re inflate to such an extent that a super massive black hole could form and we all get sucked into oblivion to the sounds of Champagne Supernova. Hopefully not.
I am not from UK, so I am not gonna go to concert, but few days ago I finally learned Wonderwall, so I feel like little connected to them. Maybe they will drop something as known as Wonderwall… who knows.
Going to do what I can to get to one of those gigs. The band from my college years. I saw Noel’s HF birds last year and they were epic. Heard the rumors of a reunion yesterday but this is great news to start my day!
Not much of an Oasis fan although I do have a couple of boots of theirs from a number of their shows. Be interesting to see what they play.
I like most of their music but doubt I’ll be seeking out a ticket. As an aside I do actually hope they’ve settled their differences rather than being one of those bands where it’s just for the cash and the hatred on stage can be felt by the audience!
Thats great boost for economy, just hoping one of them won’t get sick or won’t show up, or worse will do 4 songs only I imagine prices will be in excess of £150 for cheapest ticket. Not sure how much Taylor was this year at Wembley, I expect similar if not more expensive prices
Dan is a huge Oasis fan (about @Notter ’s level ) and I half expected him to tell me this morning that we were going to have to travel to one of the two locations they are touring Although, a couple of the articles made it sound like they may come to the US at some point.
We actually were able to see them on tour in support of their final album before they broke up, so I think I can probably convince Dan to wait until they come to the US
There`s no doubt they have talent but not my type of music and between now and next year anything could happen reminds me of the kinks the two brothers in that band were always fighting
Ray and David Davies.
No one as arrogant as Noel Gallagher deserves a penny of my hard-earned money, jus’ sayin’!
As far as their music, MEH!
I’m more of a Stone Roses fan, though.
With the money they’ll surely make they will probably spend more time dabbling in the ‘derivatives market’.
Auntie says Noel has an expensive divorce to fund
For love, or for money?
The reunion, then in a couple of years the inevitable break up? Or are they off the drugs now?
This… as they’ve said there’s no plans for any new material. They’ve spent all their money on cigarettes and alcohol. Now they need a top up for a champagne supernova.
Yep, figures. Can’t say I was ever a fan of this mob.
Cheers, Shane
I’m sure they will think of our hearts
The grumpy rockstar thing`s been done to death now - (all an act anyway)
