Oasis reunion after 15 years

Interesting Shane. The last bit of the video from about 11minutes sums up their attitude!
However, you posted a beg, borrow, steal video in another thread. Can’t have it both ways I guess!
Borrowing and Stealing?

Still looking forward to this gig and all the negativity from this community on this thread isn’t going to change my mind.

Lots of positive responses esp. towards the top of the thread, Eddie
And most of the ‘negativity’ seems to fall into the ‘Those are rip-off prices’ category
You’re going back to your home country to see a band you like play a gig you’ll enjoy for 75 quid. You’ll have a blast
I just bought tickets to see Laurie Anderson’s new show in Manchester- 43 years after I first saw her live :open_mouth:

Plenty of negative comments prior to ticket sales too Brian. Anyway I am going to enjoy it despite all the begrudgers… enjoy your gig also . Wow 43 years is a long time !

Just as you should, Eddie.

Hopefully the gig will be as good as you hope for and you will be able to enjoy it to the max. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi Eddie. Your travel expenses might just nudge the price of your €86.50 ticket up a tad Eddie! :joy: You’re presumably visiting relatives at the same time. I’m sure the concerts will be terrific and I look forward to your review next year.

That it will Gordon but yes I always visit Ireland in August to see my parents and siblings so bolting on an oasis concert in Croke Park will be a nice little bonus :sunglasses:

I think many great artists polarise opinion. Don’t tell anyone but Pink Floyd leaves me cold, however I think Ms Swift is a great songwriter (although I don’t want to start that debate again!). Personally I’m neutral on Oasis, you do you and enjoy the show - I’m quite sure the atmosphere alone will make it an amazing experience.

Cheers Paul. I won’t tell anyone but am with you on the Pink Floyd thing. They don’t do anything for me either :+1:

Sailing close to the wind guys…
I think I saw somewhere in the forum rules that disrespecting The Floyd falls in the same category as politics, religion and foul language

Oops I better not get involved in the Seattle grunge thread going on then :joy:

Hey You, I think this is just One Of These Days. Just Breath. Eddie - It’s Us And Them, stay Fearless.

Yes, its a fine line. Brewster makes the point about intent, and that’s where bands like Oasis I think cross that line.

I always enjoyed the little joke the bootleg beatles made in their concerts saying “here’s one we wrote earlier” and then started playing wonderwall. All good fun as they supported oasis many times on stage.

To be honest, I didn’t see this coming…good vibes :sunglasses:

With the amount of money the tickets are going for I would rather buy a new guitar.
