Obs 30.0

I’ve just updated my OBS to 30.0 and it killed my ability to record. It kept coming up with the error message

Failed to start recording
Starting the output failed. Please check the log for details.

NOTE: If you are using the NVENC or AMD encoders, make sure your video drivers are up to date.

My PC is quite old and from what I’ve read it is something to do with an older driver for the video card. I am unable to update my driver so I have had to go back to an older version of OBS for the recording to work.

Thought I’d give you all a heads up on this.

Old versions are available on the OBS site. I’ve actually gone back to V28.0 due to some of the issues I experience recently. :+1:

I wonder how well your old system would work with Linux… Might be worth a try.
