your before pics show a lot of damage and after show what a good job you’re doing cleaning it up.
You’ve got Mark onboard now and sounds like he can help you.

No drought here in Northwest England where it’s mostly grassland and it’s been a good grass growing summer. I believe they’re suffering from drought further south in the UK though.

Yes, thank goodness, @Aaronwith2dots . I did a bunch more scraping. The humidity in the guitar is around 50% and the two raised area on the back are laying down much better. I am hoping to glue tomorrow. There may be a little gap between the back and the binding in these two areas but I’ll take that.
