Old Mark Twain

Couple of notes: The low E string is tuned down to D, and in addition, my guitar is tuned a tone lower than E for other songs that I play, so the capo is just bringing it back to normal tuning with the exception of the E string.

Love me a protest song, Jay :peace_symbol:
Well-played and performed!
And thanks for the prompt to learn a bit more about Mr. T
Although quick of wit and great with words, he was not without his flaws, like all the rest of us
I suspect he would look at today’s world and recognise all the same human characteristics, whilst marvelling at the progress of technology

Ok, why not play it on normal tuning then?
I don’t get it but that doesn’t mean anything, good song as always. I’m a fan! Big lyrics! Great guitar playing too! Love Mark Twain.

Allaxxor, I could have played it with normal tuning and no capo; just explaining that the reason the capo was on there was because I needed the guitar tuned down for other songs I had been playing at the time that were otherwise out of my vocal range.
