Can you Id the guitar player using a single note taken from a famous solo?
I thought I would get more of these than I did, I do very well at first note of a song and just assumed. . .
I ended up getting just 3 out of 20.

I got 1, 7 & 11.
I thought 7 was the easiest, by far, the tone was a dead giveaway.
I got 1 because I’m working on it right now and 11 I’ve listened to enough where it just stood out.

This made me realise, as do many of Rick Beato’s videos, that I don’t know much about American guitarists. There were a few names in there that I hadn’t heard of, or know only by name.

Only got #19 on the 2nd run through when the results were being revealed as he hadn’t been the player from an earlier guess!

That was fun. Scored 3 (1, 6, 7). Some of the guitarists are only known to me by name. Kept hearing Clapton

I only got #10.
Heard that song way too many times to miss that one. My old ma loved the eagles and it was a road trip tape staple when I was a kid.
I only knew about 75% of the players even after revealed though.

After 1 & 2 I was feeling pretty good, since I could easily recognize those… both artist and the song/solo they came from. It quickly went downhill from there!
Of the remaining ones I actually only got SRV correctly on the one-note pass. The second time around, before the reveal, I did get Brian May and Jeff Beck before he disclosed them.
The rest was incredibly difficult to hear!

they picked a note that does not define the sound of this guitar , thats why we didnt get number 4

2/20!! I’m not very good at recognizing artists…
I recognized 7 and 10.
I recognized 10 because I’ve listened to Take it easy and I recognized it by the strum after the note. If you listen closely, you can hear the strum.

I only listened to the first 6 or 7. Not even got a guess at any of them. Can I claim 1/20 if I say the same answer for all 20 and they happen to be in there?

3 (first round) + 2 (second round). In the first round I got 2; 3 and 4. In the second round, when the additional help was given I also got 16 and 19.
With 7; 13 and 17 I just sighed “yes, of course, who else…?” after the answers had been revealed…
