Hello all! This one was one that was long overdue! I apologize for posting one not down tuned a semi tone last time! But there was motive behind it and will work excellent to show students the why you don’t! . On to the video! Like I like to do, the rest is explained in the video!
Thank you! The guitar is the main focus, the production level is at bare minimal. Using 2 cell phones and acoustic/electric plugged in. Playing with the clean chanel and a wee bit of reverb. Still need some work to make it what I would like to hear in the end! Production level is what I can make er! Unless magical creatures drop gold on my front doorstep!! Lol
Thank you for your kind words! As I have mentioned, production level at low tech!!! . The guitar playing is the main focus. Learn so much by watching yourself!! One spot I played the wrong chord for half a spell…noticed and was able to keep going…I was happy with that…still need to work on my expression as I realize the mistake.
Oh yes!!! Fun it is my man!!! It does lighten the mood for me, every time!! Love it! Now if I can go to complete automation throughout I’d be happier.. And yeah, the production level is at low tech!! No DAW, 2 cellphones an amp and a acoustic/electric. I try to get it the best I can. Often the sound comes out different on U-Tube as well. Not sure why but always seems crisper by the time it hits u-tube. I just live with it. I’ll let the techies do that for me!!! Lmao. If that ever happens!!!
Thank you very much! Having fun is an important part, how I play it , and with what emotion. Will ultimately be a part in what the audience is feeling as well.
Nice one, Darren! I think you have impressive stage performance. You had fun; you were comfortable and you were connecting with the audience - and you played really well!
Why thank you Gordon! I am happy you mentioned this . This has been a big focus pretty much ever since I got into the groove thang!! I noticed you and others do it as well, we are human after all!! Just can be tricky to keep.going when that happens and be able to keep the rhythm. Or at least at first, now it seems to.fall into place alot easier and automated with less mistakes sometimes and more at other times!! Oh my,(working towards the less) but overall very happy with my progress.
Thank you very much Stephen!! You know what? It brings me back to house oarties myself(and cruising with friends, hanging out the sunroof and blaring er down the road!)…50 years old myself. I like to keep young at heart, but the heart has other plans!! Lol
Thank you very much for your most encouraging words!! Having fun while playing is the easier part! Thank you for noticing! We are usually hardest on ourselves and try to remind myself of that! Words like these are one of the things that motivates me! Pure love for playing is a big part. Thanks many much!!!
