Hi from Louisiana. Anybody ever tried to play Eternally Apart by Phineas? Really cool song. I love the intro. I’m trying to learn the acoustic part of the intro, but my 24-fret electric is currently out of commission so I can’t start on the electric part yet. The song is in Drop-C tuning. It sounds sooo cool. I’ve never really dabbled in any tunings other than Standard and Drop D, but this one sounds awesome. Anybody else like drop C on a six string? And if you’ve already learned this song, any playing tips?

Hi Jackson. I didn’t know there was a drop C you learn something every day and the song is new to me but I like it cheers Hec
Yeah, I would totally try playing it on a guitar with a fixed bridge or “mounted” trem. Playing it on a Floyd-Rose-style tremolo would require you to readjust your guitar’s setup, and if you don’t like the tuning then I’d hate for you to go through all that trouble for nothing.
Sounds cool unfortunately that sweetness is above my guitar riff grade. I have not jumped into Drop C yet. I play a lot of drop D. I particularly like D#
