Hi All
My finger style is improving. I can play ok with a pick too. What I can’t do (something to learn another day) is strum well without a pick. Do you know of any good ways to switch from fingerstyle to pick in the middle of a song in the meantime? I don’t like the idea of balancing it on my knee for the intro / first verse etc!
Any thoughts?

This is the only other way I know. I stash the pick in my index finger and use fingers 2 3 4 to finger pick.

I have been trying this on my own after seeing a guy do it the other night. This is real difficult for me for some reason. Probobly because i am still using the orange turtle dunlop picks or like normal I just need to practice. I bet it would be easier with the smaller jazz picks.
I am going to start doing pick transfers during the day when I am not around my guitar. I already usually have a pick in everypocket.
I can say that while practicing this I have dropped about 15 picks into my acoustic sound hole.
Sweet, after months of learning, practicing and playing now I can say I have something in common with him.
