I thought it was right up your street.
Then he announced the band are playing a world tour starting at a venue right up your street.

I hadn’t heard of Amyl & the Sniffers before, but you are right that they are definitely up my alley! I just listened to Chewing Gum, but now I’m going to have a listen to their other material. Their music/vibe is definitely in a similar vein to stuff I would write for DyeV 
And you’re right that the Crystal Ballroom is very close to me. I’ve seen some concerts there before. I’ll have to check out how much the tickets are. Thanks for pinging me!

They have quite a few good tracks out on YouTube but some can be a bit heavy/too punkish for my old ears but been listening for a good year or so. Lots of energy !!
Yes they are apparently very good live. They came to Lausanne a few weeks ago but unfortunately by the time I saw it advertised, all the tickets had gone.
