I’ve continued the gig I started last summer, playing twice a month at the Animal Services Center where I live. They’re a participant in the Wild Tunes charity. This song is always in my setlist since I think’s it’s rather fitting for how the animals must feel. I like seeing how the different pups respond to music. Plus, it’s nice to get the occasionally ‘thank you for playing’ from people looking to adopt.
Since it’s a mobile phone recording, the vocals aren’t great (lucky for all of you!).
I admire you for doing this. I think I mentioned when you first posted about this that my wife volunteers at the local shelter, and those poor animals are so stressed. When we’re not home, we play the “Music for Dogs” channel on SiriusXM for our dog. They have a “Music for Cats” channel as well.
