Practicing with my loop/drumpedal and my Victoria Goldtop

Practice session with my Boss RC10-R, more fun when having a drum pattern on the background and loop function. Missed some bendings, but having fun. I think thats the most important thing to, having fun to keep on practicing and making progression

Short and to the point (much appreciated). Nice repeating lines in there. Well done.

Loved the backing, groove and tone, plus enjoyable improv, Cyril. As much fun for me as it was for you.

@jkahn Got me there, JK, had to phone my friend Google

I figured most around here wouldn’t know them @DavidP

@jkahn I don’t know, JK … late 90s so plenty of people of that generation hanging out here. I’ve heard of Josh Homme, believe he’s a noteworthy guitarist. And even I have heard of the band, even if I’ve never listened to any of their albums, though did not know that they are frequently referred to by the acronym

For me, Queens of the Stone Age is the best band that I’ve seen live. Saw them 4 times, unfortunately they where in Belgium a week ago, but I was at work. Luckily, the whole concert was live on the radio, so I could hear it (made me almost cry when I heard them but couldn’t be there live :joy:) From the first till the last note, their sound is rolling over the crowd like a machine that can’t be stopped. Everything is timed in perfection. And the sound that Josh and Troy are getting from their guitars… damn it’s epic
For me, Josh is without hesitating in my personal top 3 guitar players with the biggest influence
Even Dave Grohl said in different interviews that the best band he has ever played in, is Queens of the Stone Age :sunglasses:

Decided to sample a little after the conversation, picked Rated R … so far so good
