Purchasing apps - the basic IT requirements to run them?

Hi Everyone,

My name is Bruce. I’m an Aussie who’s loving his guitar n keenly using justinguitar.com to expand my skill base.

Can somebody confirm the basic IT requirements to run justinguitar.com and apps on? I have an apple ipad. The model name is Air 2. The software version is 15.8.3
Is thus sufficient? I’m experiencing some glitches on the ipad when using the my practice Assistant on the dashboard function.

Also, I’m trying to purchase the Lessons and songs app plus the TABS app. Using justinguitar.com, i have found that the TABS app costs $49.99 for an annual subscription. Is this in $US or $AU? I’m confused by the info on the website. Can anyone confirm the costs of the Lessons and songs app? Do I need to buy the Justinguitar app first before buying any other apps? How much does the Justinguitar app cost in $AU?

JustinGuitar.com should work on most devices including your iPad Air 2! However, the Dashboard and My Practice Assistant are still being improved. If you can share the specific glitches you’re seeing, I’ll pass them on to our team — it might already be something we’re working on.

To clarify a few things:

  • The JustinGuitar Lessons & Songs app is separate from the website, and progress won’t sync between the two. You don’t need one to use the other; many of our students choose to use both but your account won’t sync between the two.
  • Each platform has its own exclusive features — for example, the app includes a fun guitar karaoke mode! The website has premium courses and grades beyond Grade 3!
  • The TABS feature is only available on the website. All prices on the website are shown in USD. So if you see $49.99, that’s in USD!
  • On your app store, the app subscription price will be shown in your local currency—in your case, AUD.

I understand this can cause confusion, so let me know if you need any more clarification!

Your device is compatible with running the app based on this :slight_smile:

In terms of the pricing for the Lessons and Songs app, the initial price is shown as USD but when you click on the subscription you wish to proceed with it will then transfer to your local currency on the checkout page.
