Hi. Just wondering if there is going to be a lesson on the solo to Purple Haze. Would the solo also considered to be suitable for Grade 4 or would it be classed in a higher grading?

From looking around online some people dont consider it ‘difficult’ so is this something a relative beginner should try?
Great Lesson Justin! When I taught myself this song back in the 60’s for the “Hendrix Chord” I used an E major played down on the first two frets and used my little finger to barre the 5th and 6th strings at the 3rd fret…I played a down strum on the E major followed by an upstrum on the full barre chord…what do you think of this fingering and strum for that chord?
