Thanks Adrian.
Gear used was:
The guitar I used was the Reverend Greg Koch Signature Gristlemaster, bridge pick-up. The amp is Fender Deluxe Reverb (the Tonemaster version). Amp on Channel 2 Reverb. To get the effects I used a Line 6 HX Effects unit. I dialled in an OD and Fuzz sound for main parts. Then added an Octavia for the solo effect.
For most things I just use either a clean sound or slightly overdriven sound so getting anything close to the original sound on this was a bit challenging!
Cheers!

Hi Stephen,
Jimi lives on for sure and you captured this one very well indeed. I really enjoyed hearing it again and you did such a great job on it playing and in tone. Nice go of it there!

Keep on Rock’n indeed!

Thank you. :+1:

Thanks LB. It is amazing to think that Jimi’s music still inspires players to this day. Purple Haze (and maybe Hey Joe) are probably the more accessible Hendrix tracks for me. One day I aspire to be able to do justice to Little Wing. That is on my ā€˜Dreamers’ list!
