I never see cool things in Iowa. I only see them when I travel to different states. The only thing you see is corn, corn, corn.
I was supposed to go to Alaska last week but It was my anniversary week and my wifes birthday week. So I didnt go, I felt like it was more important to be with my wife on our 25 year anniversary.
I skipped visiting my best friend with one of my bros and doing this.
For this important lady and my favorite person in the world.
Happy 25th sweet pea.
But I did go on a nice hike the next morning.
I see room in the corner to build a small music studio. ![]()

Great photo Todd. I love the landscapes in NM. I once went there for a conference and some great people I met there invited me to go and stay for a week in the desert to do fieldwork at a place called La Sevietta ( a biology research station). It was an amazing time and the landscapes are so beautiful.
I was in Bath for a weekend just a couple of weeks ago; absolutely beautiful place.
I figured I should follow my winter themed photos with a couple from Spring. Growing up in a hot and wet part of the world, I really appreciate the four true seasons I get to experience in New England!
These are the blossoms of a drooping willow and a crab apple…
An evening at Ravinia is always a nice experience. (I’m originally from the Chicago area.)
