RC-3 looper and Multi effect problem

Man How much I hate Boss RC-3 looper , No matter what some thing is not working

OK this is the problem , I have connected RC-3 looper to my Boss Me-80 multi effect
and I want to record clean loop then play distortion with my guitar while the clean loop is going on but that does not work because naturally the LOOP itself will become distorted when I change the effect so what is the trick now?

Connect the looper after the ME-80

What magic said… think of a looper as nothing more than an audio recorder! It records ( and replays) what you put into it.
