Hi all, I want to replace the neck on my original 1980s Aria Pro II HSS guitar. I bought it when I was 13; it was the best thing ever back then, but now I find the neck too skinny. I have a custom-built 57 Strat, which has a maple soft-v neck with 22 frets and it feels so good to play. I want to find a 22-fret soft-v rosewood or maple board neck but so far have struck out. Can anyone recommend any outlets or online shops that might have something similar? I’m based in the UK.
Have you checked Thomann ?

Thanks guys I’ll check those out
Make sure the bolt holes match.
The Aria has an early version of a sculpted neck so a Fender neck with precut mounting holes won’t match - but filling them in and drilling out again won’t be a problem if the rest of it comes up to par.
I’ve got no experience of this, but one thing I’d be wary of is making sure the scale length will be the same with the new neck or you may find it impossible to intonate.
Looking at the pics of the necks I linked to, they don’t appear to come pre-drilled. One crucial thing is that they fit in the pocket.
Why would a different scale length be hard to intonate? My Strat, PRS and ESP all have different scale lengths with the same strings on them and intonate just fine?
Indeed I’ll be measuring the old neck and the neck pocket
Cos the twelfth fret needs to be dead centre so depends on how the bridge measures up compared with the nut if that makes sense.
It does thank you.
