Hi Justin,
re: Hooker Vibe Blues Slow Demo
I think there’s been a mistake, this video is the same as the Faster demonstration that can be seen on the main page for Arrangement no. 4: https://www.justinguitar.com/modules/solo-blues-hooker-vibe
Slower version should be on this page?
RE: Contrary Blues - slow demo
The video appears to be for Raggy Island, not the Contrary Blues?
Pulled up the first intro lessons to start on this solo blues course. Got to a point where I wanted to use the matchmysound player to select a few bars to loop it and the “select sections” pops up this giant popup that covers everything up. using the scrollbar looks to be scrolling the tab behind the popup, but I can’t see what’s selected (if anything). Though weirdly, if I close the popup, the part I want is selected. I tried it with Edge and Firefox browsers and the popup is oversized in both. But when I close it, the selection only appears on Firefox.
Seems the problem is just with the size of the dialog popup?
seems it’s mandatory to go full-screen for this because everything works fine then.
Does somebody know how to setup to get some primer ticks before it starts playing ?
Hi! thanks for reporting this - I’m letting their software team know - I think it needs to be full-screen.
Update: Their team is working on improving the visuals for embedded sections. In the meantime, please use the full-screen view! They’ll provide an update once the fix is ready.
If you encounter any other tech bugs or issues, you can contact the MatchMySound team directly at support@matchmysound.com.
@RichieLbv – I’ve sent an inquiry regarding your question. ![]()
Cheers,
Fanny
@RichieLbv - the team says there should be clicks only when recording but not when just listening, so don’t think you can set up primer clicks at moment. Would you like to request this feature?
I would like to request it. Otherwise, you have no guidance for how to time your first note until the piece starts. Especially when you’re adjusting the playback speed to something new.
Thanks for the additional context! I’ve submitted it as a feature request. ![]()
To add to Richie & Nate comment, 90% of the time, I just want to practice with Justin’s play-along and not record myself. So that’s why, I feel like the lack of count-in for playing makes the MMS software pretty difficult to use. I end up frustrated and go back to the guitar pro for that reason. It’s a small details, but I end up missing the beginning of the bar because I press play and don’t have the time to get to the guitar before it starts playing.
Fanny, thanks for putting the guitar pro files. It seems to be only missing on the preparation module (3 songs). Can you add it please ?
Hi Fanny ,

Previous requests had been made here, I would also love 4 seconds in advance because then I can join the first bar ![]()
But Richard allready checked this with the match my sound, but I think Mathieu , Iand some more mean this with the play alongs .
Greetings
Following-up the count-in discussion, @Socio discovered in the previous thread that the MMS help centre discuss about this setting that can be activated on an application level by the administrator. Does it do what se need? Maybe ?
Additional Settings
Count-In Feature
By default, there is a built-in two-measure count-in for playback.
To turn this off:
Go to My Account > Application Settings.
Uncheck the box for “Count-in on playback.”
Click Save to apply changes.
With these options, you can customize your practice and recording experience to suit your needs. Experiment with different settings to find what works best for you!
Hi Matt! Thanks for this! I’ll flagging this to the team! Hoping that can solve it ![]()
Also - inquiring about those GP files for the 3 songs in the prep module!
Thanks Fanny ![]()
Hey all! Just a quick update — MatchMySound listened to your feedback and added a count-in! It wasn’t a simple switch to flip, but they made it happen.
Thanks for all your feedback so far! Give it a try and let me know if it’s easier to use now. ![]()
