Return to Pooh Corner cover

There is a lot missing from my version and I recommend listening to Kenny Loggins’ song Return to Pooh Corner on his live 1993 album Outside: From The Redwoods or on his 1994 lullaby album titled Return to Pooh Corner, which has many Pooh songs.

Thanks for pointing me here from the other thread, Robert! That was a delightful listen and I enjoyed it a lot.

I’m not familiar with the tune or the albums you mentioned, but might have a look. Sounds interesting. Nice picking and use of palm mute in your version, Robert. Singing sounded fine as well.

Super fun! So many cool songs to find. A good one to bring us back a bit.

Winnie the Pooh was written in 1926, but Kennie Loggins wrote “Return to Pooh Corner” when he was 17 yo, which would have been 1965, the year I was born.

Friends now!

I’m so glad I decided to hop in here and listen to your song! Such a fun performance. You did it all perfectly. Vocals, strumming and pick strums, palm muting. All of it, well done! I think I have heard the song before. I may take another listen to it now. Great job!

Please encourage your daughter’s fascination with Winnie The Pooh. The stories are great for taking a step back, understanding things, and then doing your best. It’s also wonderful for later life parent-to-now-adult interaction. I play the song today as a wish and am thankful that good people like you enjoy it! Thanks for commenting and sharing life!

Thanks Josh! Your short vote: excellent … is appreciated!

I’m considering playing at a coffee shop. The Pooh song is so very, like lullaby, light. Me, I love most all music. Exception…being born in 60, I’m too old for some things. But still, I have a very wide genre range. What is your range? What music do you study, and then learn and perform? Share your links. _R
