At my latest visit to the library, I spotted this book and wondered whether there is some hidden part of @Richard_close2u life, that would be intersting to hear more about .
Reverand Coles is actually very well known. He’s frequently on TV and radio in the UK and, in the 1980s, was the keyboard player in the pop duo The Communards, who had a number of hits.
Cheers,
Keith
Oh, that’s interesting . Also the info about The Communards. I actually loved their music in my teen years, but couldn’t remember the keyboarder’s name.
Well, I guess ‘Richard Coles’ is a quite frequent name .
I like how it is music related as well Nicola.
I read Richard Coles autobiography, was quite an interesting read.
Ah, Keith beat me to it.
I was going to make some playful reply about my other jobs involving keyboards, pop music pulpits, sermons, radio and TV and writing novels.
Too late now. The facts are out. That’s him, not me.
More common is Cole (no s).
Ah, I had no ideal!!! He’s a legend!
Oops didn’t realize that he had passed sorry!
You are a mind of information Malik:+1:. I quite liked their music is was my growing up era, although, not sure I’ve ever really grown up:joy:
