Richard's Holiday Tune Creation Lesson on Dec. 2, 2024

I just wanted to say what a great time I had learning how to construct a holiday song , or any other tune or song for that matter, with Richard. I think I can safely add, based on the chats and terrific interaction of the participants, everyone else did as well. It was a great, easy to understand approach to song creation. I learned a lot and began immediately afterwards playing around with scales and background tracks. That especially caught my imagination and got it going at full speed. I was amazed how often I could hit random notes of the scale during a tune and have it sound great.

Thanks for that, Richard, and everyone else who had a lot of fun with it. I really enjoyed it. Happy Christmas!

Thanks Jim. And thanks for the lyric. Thkugh my attempts to make a melody of it were a little mangled - something I would devote more time to if not broadcasting to a live audience.

I really appreciate you taking the time to offer your thanks. Iā€™m so glad it had such an immediate and positive impact on you.

I think you did remarkably well to cope in a live situation with all the suggestions that were coming thick and fast at you through the chat system.
Top marks to you.

I really enjoyed the knowledge in the work flow process. That was really good. For me, just having a set of steps that I can check off as I go. Adding having gone through the steps in a formal (fun and light hearted formal) type setting makes a world of difference. I was almost unable to go to this last session and due to other unfortunate I was able to attend and this was a great possitive from a otherwise bad day.

As always Richard your lessons, as all of the clubs are great. I have never failed to get learn great information from these sessions regardless of the levels.
