There’s been a lack of metal video covers lately, so I thought I’d step up and make my contribution.
This is a song originally composed by New Model Army, but Sepultura did a cover and included it in their 1993 album “Chaos A.D.”. It’s a simpler song than my previous one from Therion, but I wanted to do something easy to get back into recording. Besides, even though it’s not perfect, it has less mistakes.
Anyway, here it is:

I do agree! I’m a massive metal fan myself and I’m itching to jump into some on my guitar journey but keen to not skip the fundamentals.

New Model Army - now there’s a blast from the past. 6th form days - way back when.
Sepultura have done some good covers - love their version of Angel. Been thinking of trying a cover of that myself (with Katja.)

Yes, it’s not a hard song by any means. It’s not too fast, has no solo, and the more “leadish” parts are short.
I’m not a tone chaser, so this is mostly the Hi-Gain setting in my Yamaha THR10II with most pots around 12. Still sounds nice with my guitar.
Of course, Sepultura has more complex songs, but… and this song is still too difficult for you. Not very good synchronization of the right and left hands and quite a few mistakes throughout the song. Maybe it’s worth choosing something less complex and fast for now.
