My pleasure! AI is a lot of fun and has inspired me with song writing and working through some of my half-baked ideas, which is where I really want to be. I fall back on music theory and guitar playing more than one would think.

Had a listen a while back, but there was no time then to reply… Medical and other stuff being the culprit there. I made a note then to come back and check into this a bit deeper and am doing so now.
One can say “unfinished” or whatever, but you got pretty much a great full song here in length and what not. I am taking it at face value and I am also in the same boat as you. Kids grown and many memories left to cherish. I thank you for bringing those back in thought with this one. The nice thing is, you probably by now have grand kids? To me, that is a blessing to behold. Some of my grand kids are driving now and that dates me… LOL
Anyway, nice song writing. That stood out to me. As Brian noted, good use of chords. Beyound my comprehension theory wise at this time.
At any rate, keep up the good vibes and think about a stroll though your back 40, the garden. Might be another good original or two in there to be had.
