Would have been further out but the tide was going out and quite a strong pull. Given I’d not swan in a good few years I did not want to take any risks ! So I wimped out.

Well ,I just watched this before my first tea and I have to say that next time I want to pay extra for an underwater camera 
But I really enjoyed the photos and some video is always very nice too because it brings me close to my own way of watching sunfish and others in the clear waters in Italy

Yes…there’s a great variety, I took pictures only of the most colorful ones because they are quite unusual in this part of the Mediterranean Sea and the greyish species you see swimming in the video don’t come out so well on pictures because they camouflagle in the background; but I can assure you they’re very beautiful as well in the right light, also when you look at them toward the open blue sea; when the sun shines on them you find out they have other colours like yellow and light blue…some look very silvery and precious! And there’s a species of tiny little ones that seem to be black…but with the sun their heads becomes electric blue!

the summer is always too short! For me the last day will be tomorrow because on monday I’ll be back to work and adulthood 
The other day my husband, just for the sake of teasing me, said “hey, you know they’re saying on the News that Italy is among the countries with longest summer school holidays?” My short and sharp reply: “And so what?”

I remember very well that “we” Dutch people always told our Italian friends that we were so jealous of their even bigger/longer holidays…Oooo we only had 6 weeks and you had so so so so much longer, like 6 months or something like that on summer vacation
