This is what happened: while picking and singing this one with the kids in May I happened to think that it was very clear to me where the melody notes were within the bars, and I guessed working out a little chord melody shouldn’t be too difficult! In fact it now took me only a few days!

Now I promise I won’t play it anymore before the autumn comes again…or Rogier @roger_holland will curse on me for interfering with his rain dances
But I had to record it now because it feels like a big achievement for me, to be able to pick a melody, no matter how simple, through fast (for my standards) sixteenth notes fingerpicking. YAY!!!

Although I wonder whether you have really flagged a post, I just clicked on it and see that a choice has been added, but just like before, I think you have to click 2 times in that screen (so actually 3 wrong clicks), I will do a test now and see if you now receive a message that way (only 2x I click a box and shut it down).
at least you have make me laugh again. In the past I accidentally submitted a post with a flag because my fingers sometimes have a kind of spasm at the wrong time on the mouse pad.
I tried double clicking and other combinations immediately, but the flag didn’t disappear at all, now it’s gone … no more tries from my side, no experiment s…

Rogier I"m taking an after lunch nap soon with these temperature…but we have the air-conditioning on in the living room since one hour already and the doors open so the all house, which is not big, cools down a bit.

Above is outsise in the shasdowside of the hous and down is the coolest part of the hous downstairs ( probably because I play guitar here )
last day of complaining about the weather , the rain dance is delayed this afternoon or evening, and then my wife will be home again for a week and a half … so I’m out of the house a lot into the woods and more
we all are unique creatures of this world and we put into guitar learning, like anything else, our own perspective, we see things with different , have different strenghts and different struggles…but one thing works for everybody and that is: you find what you’re looking for. I hope English is not failing me and you can get the meaning.
