There are 2 bridges (links as Justin refers to them) in this song, each chord in the bridge is a full measure except the last which goes for 2 measures. My question is what strumming pattern is to be used? I know the patterns for the verse & chorus, not sure about the bridges.

Listening to the original, it’s quite an upbeat piece. I would use a more simplified beat to break from the main pattern J.G uses, or find a picking pattern to suit. you can hear one in the original.
I’m certainly not the person to put a definitive answer here , so hopefully some far more experianced players can help. Even a simple 4 down strums would help to create a break, as its 4/4 you can come up lots if patters that would work.
