Hi there, I’m assuming that we play all songs in the latest app version in open position. In previous versions the songs were in proper key with capo position designated, right? Am I missing something as it relates to the proper key while using the app?
Did you ever get a response to this? I have the same assumption, but I’d like to make sure.
This is correct - the current version of the Songs and Lessons app does not support capoing.
To make things easier for beginners, many of the songs that were originally played with capos, barre chords, different tunings, etc have been transposed or otherwise simplified.
If you need to capo a song - to better match your vocal range, for example - the Moises app allows you to change the key of any recording. I have found this to be very helpful when learning to sing.
