I - V - vi - IV, I - V - IV- IV is the dreaded or beloved “Wagon Wheel”
Thanks for the suggestion! If I may, which version do you play? I’m asking because this song has been adapted by so many bands. Especially, do you use a capo?
How about playing a known song by changing its key to C just to practice the F chord? Feels easy as I already know the rhythm and timing of the changes and just have to adapt using different chords.
Everyday is Like Sunday - Morrissey, have been practicing this for the C to F changes, but the chorus has a G to F that I was struggling with, weak finger G is the answer!
Hi Oliver, welcome to the community! Isn’t it a great feeling when you find a song you love playing and it provides a chance to work out a weakness? We’d love to hear about your guitar journey so far…if you’re inclined, let us know a bit more in this topic over here.
Hi Oliver, welcome to the community forum. Weak G is definitely the answer when changing from an F chord. Weak finger G also works well when changing from a C chord.
Jumper by 3rd Eye Blind seems really good for this practice. Weak finger G, plus the push on Fmaj7 to C. Substituting D chord instead of D add 9 sounds fine to me too!
