In honour and celebration of schlaffenwagen (Roman)

As a decade draws to an end, Justin, Lieven & Richard wish to publicly acknowledge, commend and celebrate the achievements and the works of producer and collaborator extraordinaire - Roman aka schlaffenwagen.

Roman first joined the JustinGuitar Forum community in 2012 and within a very short space of time was uploading his own recordings. Soon after he began reaching across the virtual space of the web, and time zones of the globe, contacting many of the international cast of characters that make up our wonderful community with one purpose - to collaborate and record with others.

Everyone that has worked with Roman tells a similar story – of his endless encouragement, his selfless dedication to coaxing the best from them, and of adding his own unique touch and skills on mixing and producing the finished recordings.

The catalogue of recordings is staggering in number, quality and in the many cross-genre styles. Many are, sadly, no longer available, having been deleted or made private for reasons unknown. There follows below a lengthy - though not fully comprehensive - list of the many collaborations Roman has produced with other JustinGuitar Forum members. I hope I have not missed anyone out.

I wanted to get back to this a long time ago! I still remember the joy I felt when I first got to collaborate with Roman. At the time I was new to the forum and had just seen/ heard his Foxy lady with Kevin. So to get a chance to collaborate with him last Christmas was something of a dream come true. Such an amazing person, with a lot of passion, professionalism and skill for the art. On top of that he is extremely patient and always tries to bring the best out of people! Roman - I’m so glad you have found this thread. It was a privilege and a pleasure compiling the list and listening back to many of the songs whilst I did my research.
