Stumblin' In - first time ever standing while playing

Many firsts - first guitar strap, first standing while playing and first time ever playing in the snow, first with this audio/video setup.

Comments and feedback always welcome.

Hi Mike ,
Playing while it is snowing it is even the first at Justinguitar :scream: … :grinning_face_with_big_eyes: :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I enjoyed this very much  ( 2nd video I’m guessing ???)

The energy and fun came off my screen and out of the speakers :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Greetings Rogier

All in all pretty good, Mike, considering the number of firsts. And I did wonder if the snow was real or a video effect.

Strumming sounded relaxed and pretty consistent. Did’nt notice any major slips on the chords.

Have to say, you’ve come on a ways since I recall your first recordings shared on SoundCloud . . . wonderful to enjoy your progress.

Thanks for listen and the upbeat words. I think the “fun” in this song is what drew me to it initially.
It’s really too rushed but primarily I was attempting to work on the setup as well as learning to play standing. Yes Roger 2nd video.

Thanks David, always a pleasure to hear from you. I just crossed the threshold of 4 years since the first time I ever really laid my hands on a guitar (at 65). Sure wish I started earlier.

But it’s made my retirement ever much more enjoyable.

This year’s goal is to take Justin’s advice and get a number of songs committed to memory. Hopefully 5-10 or so.

The biggest fault (IMO) on this song is stumbling (pun intended) with the lyrics cuz I was trying to read them.

So much wisdom from Justin!

You’ve got lots to be happy with the video, Mike. I must admit that I thought, like David, the snow looked like a video effect!

I don’t see a video?

New at this. I think it’s back.

Well done Mike. Pretty solid mate, considering all the ‘firsts’ you threw in there.
Brings back some good memories too.

Cheers, Shane

Thanks Shane, I really appreciate the listen, especially in a busy week time of year we are in.
I regret a bit the, perhaps, over enthusiasm, I should have toned it down a bit. It’s a tough call between being a bit too much vs being a bit too boring. Maybe that’s another thing that comes with time.

Thank you Jon. Much appreciate the listen and the kind words.

Listen, I’m impressed @MiJoy! I just posted my first time ever standing and playing and singing too and its not for the faint of heart! Nice work out there in the elements :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Thank you and right back at you! Great job.
