Loved the bouncy energy, Danny, and admire the way you play with fingers, blending the strumming and the note walks. Video thumb nail is also cool.

From the title I wasn’t expecting that kind of energy: works well.

Thanks for listening Digger72. I’d been messing with different ways to play it and settled on this style. Heard a cat Steven’s song with G/Em/C/D and recalled another song from the early 60s. So that’s probably why it ended up like this.

Hi Danny,
I agree with Colin- catchy tune, well-played and sung.
The concept of starring in each others’ movies (or not) works well :grinning_face_with_big_eyes:
If you’re looking for critique, the verses, chorus and bridge sound a bit too similar for my taste. Don’t ask for concrete suggestions, as that’s not my forte :roll_eyes:]
I would change the second and third lines to make the song consistent in speaking directly to the ‘object of your desire’ in the second person, as opposed to the third.
I like your stuff!

Good point I struggled w using you vs she and split the difference which now doesn’t work.
I think using you is better throughout.
I’ll change that thanks.

Yeah verse and chorus w similar chords. Only the Em sets aside the verse. I’ll have the refresh on that one to find a better way.

Super for you is way cool! You just picked up a like and a subby on youtube. I’m guilty of super hero overload, but you put an original, interesting and tasty twist on the genre.
