It was edited out of the 1970 release of Loaded - I never knew it existed until I heard the Cowboy Junkies arrangement of the song - but it’s been restored on subsequent reissues and box sets.
Loaded, if any of you are unfamiliar, is the Velvet Underground’s masterpiece. There’s a reason it got a SIX DISC 45th Anniversary reissue! All of their records are superb, but ignore the folks that will tell you their best work is on White Light/White Heat or their eponymous debut. They’re wrong, and I will fight them to prove it.
