No need to apologize for the vocal “moment”… it still sounds 100x better than if I sang it! Besides, I defy anyone to claim they’ve never been a bit off on something.

Thank you for covering this incredible song! This is a good one because it has something acoustic and electric players to learn.

Good effort on the vocals Justin. NOBODY sounds like CS.

We need more Chris Stapleton for sure!

Loving this lesson great song and feels good quickly. I had to smile when playing the strumming pattern at half speed- it seems you’ve been sampling the Tennessee Whiskey . Great lesson thanks

Fabulous lesson thank you. I learned to play the solo of this recently - a different variation but then if you follow Chris Stapleton (as I do) he plays it differently depending on the guitar or how he feels. Your version will be another great variation that I can play. Win win
Thank you

Hey Justin, perfect lesson for us beginners! Since Chris Stapleton is on your mind I’d love to see your take on “The Joy of My Life” I’m currently trying to work that one out. A little bit above my pay grade at the moment but I’ve found with a little perseverance and patience I am actually getting there.

Thank you Justin! I fell in love with Chris Stapleton’s music after seeing him on ACL, he’s been called Country but obviously he is very Bluesy.
Just one tip maybe will help some. I play A chord with my last three fingers so the melody on the D note is difficult for me and also I don’t want to capo since I want to play the intro to start. I found the melody line Asus2-Asus4-Asus2-A works nice as an alternative for me.

Loving this lesson. Embellishments beyond me (for now) but managed to play it through slowly . B minor chord is still iffy/slow but will keep practicing. thanks
