is it chambered? I bought one non-chambered and can’t play it more than maybe 10 minutes (standing) before it wrenches out my back and spine

Is adding chambers to a solid body guitar to reduce weight and make them more playable for those with physical limitations a common thing? I looked into getting a lighter electric to help with my shoulder issue.
Sorry, this reply may be too far off topic.
I guess it’s a bit off topic, but I don’t mind. Perhaps a mod can split this out later…
But yeah, I completely understand! Playing a heavy guitar can be hard on the back, if standing with it for a long time. This particular Les Paul is not really chambered, and it’s quite heavy. Not recommended for anyone with back issues.
You can get some really cool semi-hollow body electric guitar that sounds great for blues (and rock). I briefly had a Schecter c1 e/a, which is fairly inexpensive and light weight. My latest toy, which I currently love very much and play ALL the time, is a MusicMan Majesty. It’s got a very small body and it very lightweight. Very ergonomic and exceptionally well built guitar. Very, very expensive though. Those are just a few examples…
On my end, no issue with the “off topic” stuff as it is a guitar board!
I happen to have 2 LP guitars. One I would like to get rid of as it is the full body non-chambered model. The other is the expensive one that is chambered. What a difference. I really don’t have back problems, that is until I strap on the beast. It just seems to hit the body in such a way that it knows how to miss-treat you. I mean it is only about 10lbs. Not even double that of a chambered LP. Yet, it makes a huge difference in how it treats you when it plays.
So in summary, if you have a bad back avoid the macho heavy LP. If you need a bad back, get a solid non chambered LP, it will do the trick!
I don’t think chambered guitars were targeted for those with disabilities by the way. They sure help that segment of players though. I would think if you have shoulder issues, then you don’t even want to consider a heavy LP.
Also, many debate the tone differences. I don’t know if there are many to be had. Check out this video:
