Says Am to E moves down a string, but you move UP right? Wanted to mention it.

@ScarlettStarlight Hello. Welcome to JustinGuitar and the Community.

Up and down can be confusing when you are first learning the uses for guitar players.

Moving from thick 6th E string to thin 1st E string is moving up. That is a description of the ascending pitch of the notes, not a description of the strings as they are positioned in physical 3d space, with 1st string nearest the floor.

Moving from fret 1 to fret 2 to fret 3 etc. on a single string is also moving up. This too describes ascending pitch - or you could think it describes the increasing number assigned to the frets.
I hope that makes sense.
