Hi. Just a small edit to the first sentence: were should be changed to the contraction “we’re”. Thanks! Great lesson, this simple explanation just solved a whole lot of brain damage and head scratching - and rabbit holes the internet queries drag up.

Does Justin have a Video on how to link all 5 Major Scale Patterns together or a PDF file or both?

Li k in what way @jeb1155

The patterns on a diagram or tips on playing?

I wanted to know how to connect each pattern to the next one where they end, and start from pattern to pattern to play thru them all, is there a video or PDF that shows that?

in the CAGED system…

Hello James,

This module may have some relevant info for you;

If you’re so inclined, its a good learning experience to physically draw your own personal version; helps to internalise this stuff.

Cheers, Shane

Thanks, But how do you link each pattern together?

Look at the last chart that is all 5 patterns linked together.
I don’t know why your worried about this you’ll never need to link all 5 patterns when playing.

One piece of very valuable information Justin stresses about is if you can’t make music in one pattern knowing the rest won’t help your playing one bit.
