Very sweet sounds , and clear playing.
Good stuffāļø
Masterful Rogier you were clearly enjoying that and so was I I have managed to learn boom boom John Lee Hooker but not on your level
Sounding very sweet Rogier . I am glad you are feeling better and back playing. Doesnāt sound like you missed any practice.
that was excellent, Rogier! Great timing and groove!
I agree, it doesnāt sound like youāve missed any practice time.
Glad to hear that youāre feeling better and playing again though
Iāve been working through the Solo Blues Guitar course too, and have had fun working on this one. You make it seem so easy!
Thank you all for the good vibes you give me this morning
Hi Mick @micknew

Hi John @Guitarman63
Thank you and yes I enjoying playing a lot ā¦
always a lot of amusement when I play and always think while playing about fellow forum members who are going to watch and comment or what they have said in the past ā¦ that often causes extra grins in between
Ooo John Lee Hooker ā¦ me too soon ā¦I hope
Hi Eddie @Eddie_09
Thank you very much for dropping by ,
I have been holding the guitar for 10 minutes every other day and sometimes after 2 days, but this playing is what I have been doing most of the last few months, so I will soon be able to do that fast again after 2 days or soā¦
Hi Jasmine @Avalon426
Thank you that is very nice to read
and practice pay off
Thanks for the hart and
have a lot of fun with it ,I like this now so much in the beginning phase that Iām almost eager to pick out a new one next weekā¦ although Iām also curious about the new lessons James @Socio talked about, I didnāt read the newsletter properly and already removedā¦
Iām glad I can make you think itās easy
Thanks you all
Bravo Rogier ā¦ have I said this before? Did you know there is an entire topic devoted to these thumb-blues pieces in āChallengesā?
He mentioned in the last BLIM Q&A that the updated solo blues course was planned to be released I think towards the end of January. Didnāt you pay attention in the classroom?
Maybe time for a new solo blues challenge v2 topic to reflect the refreshment of the updated course?
Hey Rogier, that was wonderful!
I never checked that 3rd lesson out! But one day I will! You did so very well!
And there were bits that reminded me of āSweet home Chicagoā
Now I started BLIM and this will help me getting better too!
All the best and see you around,
Dominique
Great playing Rogier ! You got the blues!!!
And the speed is impressive.
Itās nice to see other students doing the solo course.
Excellent !!!
yesā¦
Thank you Richard ā¦and
Wasnāt that Hansās topic?
Yes, I didnāt think about that for a moment when posting, I think I agree with James
I could of course post a link in the challenge topic ā¦ given my limited contributions in the AVOYP topics, this could use a little more spotlight ā¦ if this is not desired, please let me know and I will post the next one in the old or new topic as suggested by James ā¦ or start a new one ā¦ for me itās all okay .
ā¦ the story of my life, I was always staring outside and/or dreaming away in class ,
has caused major problems (no kidding)
Iām looking forward to it
Hi Dominique @domi7
Thank you very much
Cool that you started with Blim ā¦ have a lot of fun
Hi Mathieu @math07
Thank you very much
Yes that speed was a thing
Hi Allison @AlyKat
Thank for listening
Greetings all and thank you very much for dropping by
2025 marks a change to that
Blues soul, right there! I love this little piece, and I love the way you play it, the nice little staccato notes, mastery of that tricky B7 bit, a beautiful blues curl on the turnaround, and a lovely ending shaking-guitar-vibrato. I had to watch through twice, but I still didnāt catch the mistake youāre talking about. Your performance is just too engaging I guess, Rogier, what with looking up at the camera and all Thanks for posting your recording
