He is indeed a great guitar player… 
. and one of the first albums I bought was his with this song 
I’m assuming you know that Jeff is blind… 
… Not that it should make that much of a difference, I’m guessing by playing blind so early this was apparently the easiest position (he started at the age of 3)

thats the point !
We are all taught the basic principle of how to play with the same rules but there is not one single way to play
we are all different and we all end up playing the way that suits us as a unique person , overcoming our own issues
We often have questions about how to overcome health issues and play
most of the time there are no real answer
only a doc / medical adviser or the player can find the answer but there are plenty of players that shows that nothing is impossible !!!
Jeff is the best extreme way of showing it 
I’m a huge fan of Jeff. His version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps is one of the very best there is.

I was reading an article about this song and how , thanks to his way of playing , he uses lots of slides to connect the different positions
probably more then a “ valid “ player would
