Congratulations Silvia @Silvia80 !!!
So happy to hear this news!!! Hope stepping into your new role is “painless”!!! I’m sure you will be a great asset (as you’ve always been) here in the Community!!!
Good for you!!! ![]()
Tod
Congratulations Silvia !!
Congrats Silvia! ![]()
It is a perfect fit - all the best for your new role! ![]()
Great news, Silvia! Congrats!
That’s great news. One of the reasons that our forum is so nice is because of how incredibly well moderated it is. That must take up a huge amount of time for all our moderators, but it’s so important.
Congrats @Silvia80
Many congrats @Silvia80. This is good news and I’m confident you’ll do a great job. Your appointment will help address the imbalance between male and female Community staff and perhaps encourage more female learners to join the gang. ![]()
Congratulations Sylvia, sure you will do a great job. Hopefully we don’t make it too difficult for you.
Congratulations to the JG team!
How’d they pull that off? ![]()
Inspired…
I’m already looking forward to my first ‘reprimand’ ![]()
Congratulations Silvia @Silvia80
Hope it won’t keep you away from your guitar too much.
Michael
Eh?! What?! Who? Me?! ![]()
I feel so honoured! And excited. And extremely happy. A bit scared, as I feel the responsability of the role. And grateful to Justin’s Team for making me feel appreciated ![]()
I’ll try my best to be up to the task and not to dissapoint, no matter the struggles.
The best things in life, those that are really worth… they all require commitment, dedication and some pain too . The reward is so great to make me feel brave and face the challenges that will get into the way!
Oh no no no…this won’t happen! Nothing can keep me away from my guitar
On the contrary, I will keep sharing my journey as I’ve always done and find much inspiration in all of your journeys and guitar stories!
Thank you all so much! Both for your welcoming words and above all for the support you’ve always offered to me! It meant the world for my development and I hope I’ll be able to share with more and more people this positive mindset about learning to play the guitar that you all contributed to create.
Big thanks to Lieven @LievenDV for illustrating to me how the “behind the scenes” works. And to Fanny @FannyJustinGuitar who contacted me and has been most kind and patient. To David @DavidP I need to say: you’re the one I feel is closer to me as an example to follow, your support is priceless for each one of us!
And (breaking already the Community Rules to tag him…just because this is such a big occasion!) to Justin @JustinGuitar , last but not least goes my deepest gratitude because…Teacher, you made me find my way with guitar and you’re once more trusting me! I’ll try my best!

I must have missed that one somehow… I’m pretty sure I’ve tagged Justinius Maximus at least once or twice…
OOPS!!!
SORRY!!! - BTW, isn’t it a “Standard” at least for English speaking peoples to say “Better to ask for forgiveness AFTER the fact than permission BEFORE the fact” or am I just making this up??? ![]()
Tod
The way I’ve always heard it is “it’s easier to get forgiveness than permission.” ![]()
@Silvia80 Your positive vibe will continue to make such a great impact on the community . ![]()
YAY!! Silvia! Congratulations
![]()
This is wonderful news! ![]()

I’m also inspired by you sharing your guitar journey ![]()
